Key Responsibilities:Sales and Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining, agricultural, and industrial sectors.
Promote and sell product offerings.
Develop sales strategies to increase market share and grow the customer base.
Conduct site visits to evaluate customer needs and present appropriate pump solutions.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding product inquiries, rentals, and service-related concerns.
Provide clients with technical advice on pump selection, application, and maintenance.
Product Knowledge
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in technology.
Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to clients as needed.
Quotations and Proposals
Prepare and submit accurate and competitive quotations for Rentals, sales, and services.
Negotiate terms of sales agreements with clients to achieve the best possible outcomes for both the customer and the client.
Ensure timely follow-up on proposals and inquiries to close deals effectively.
Reporting and Documentation
Maintain accurate sales records and report on sales activity, including leads, orders, and customer feedback.
Use CRM systems to track customer interactions, opportunities, and progress toward targets.
Submit sales forecasts and performance reports to the Sales Manager.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, technical support, and rental departments, to ensure timely delivery and servicing of equipment.
Coordinate with the marketing department to ensure alignment in promotional efforts and lead generation.
Site Visits and Travel
Regularly travel to customer sites, mines, and industrial facilities to provide on-site support and technical advice.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to network and promote the clients products and services.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in external sales, particularly in the mining, agricultural, or industrial sectors.
Proficient in large-scale water movement and processing equipment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored technical solutions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts.
Proficiency in CRM software.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
