Description:
My client is focused on providing tailor-made transport and freight solutions to its clients throughout SA. Since their inception nearly two decades ago, they have demonstrated immense growth and continue to dominate market share in the logistics space.The successful incumbent will be responsible for heading up the full accounting function including cashbook management, journal entries, forex experience and fixed assets management.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role Must have a background in supply chain/logistics/transport
- BCom
- SAIPA or SAICA articles Advantageous
- Experience on SAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Full finance function
- General ledger up to trial balance
- VAT submissions and calculations
- Cashbook management
- Reconciling the fixed asset register
- Foreign and local creditors
