Position Overview:My client is looking for a highly motivated Payroll Accountant to take on a key role in the financial operations of their business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining payroll accounting duties, general ledger management, and supporting various finance and payroll-related activities, to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Accounting & GL Management:
- Process and reconcile monthly payroll entries, ensuring integration into the Sage X3 ERP system.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Commerce (BCom) or related field. Proven experience in payroll accounting, preferably in an FMCG, or similar, industry. Strong understanding of general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Familiarity with Sage X3 ERP system is highly advantageous. Knowledge of financial reporting, auditing, and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Available to start immediately.
