Qualifications- Matric
- BCom Degree/Diploma in Financial AccountingRequirements
- 5+ years Financial Management Experience
- 5+ Years experience in retail and automotive environment will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Accounting Systems will be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and formulas
- Sound knowledge of General Principles of Accounting and applicable Accounting StandardsDuties
- Timely reporting of accurate financial results to Metair and Management.
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Cash flow projections
- Management of Fixed Assets Register, Capex expenditure and capitalization
- Balance Sheet accounts, Reconciliations and Departmental Expense variance analysis
- Overseeing international creditors payments and Forward cover management
- Manage and ensure reconciliation of sub-ledgers to general ledger
- Analyze business expenses and prepare optimized budgets and forecasts, including Metair
- Provide accurate financial information to management and other stakeholders
- Inventory management including goods in transit, inventory journals, Stock count and stock adjustments
- Vat returns and Vat reconciliations
- Assist with Tax computation and preparation of tax returns
- Budget and Forecast schedules
- Internal and External audit files
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Account Receivable Personnel
- Interaction with other internal departments
