Description:
Restaurant/Bakery has the following positions available to start training for second store opening in Canal Walk
*CASHIER:
Must have at least 1-2 years experience as a cashier responsibilities will include cash handling, stock take, packing of sales counter. Must be friendly and well spoken.
*BARISTA:
Must have 2-3 years experience as a Barista/Bartender have knowledge in cocktails/wines will be an advantage. Responsibilities will include sending out orders within the required ticket time, stock take, ensuring sufficient prep done for the day.
*BAKER:
Must have at least 3-5 years experience as Artisan baker, be willing to work early morning shifts, (have own transport will be an advantage) Responsibilities will include, baking of bread, mixing of dough (be able to follow recipes) stock take. Must be willing to work early shifts.
*PASTRY CHEF:
Must have 2-4 years experience as a pastry chef must be able to follow recipes, bake pastries, cakes etc. Responsibilities will include
Following daily production, ensuring sufficient items get made for trade.
(Own transport will be an advantage). Must be willing to work early shifts.
*WAITERS:
Looking for waiters to join the team must be friendly, well spoken, must have at least 2-3 years experience as a waiter. Responsibilities will include, meeting and greeting of customers, handing menus to them taking food and drinks order, make payments, clearing of tables.
*HOSTESS
Looking for a friendly well spoken young lady to meet and greet customers as they enter and exit the restaurant. Give menus when they are seated.
*BACK OF HOUSE SUPERVISORS
Must have at least 2 years experience in a similar environment. Responsibilities will include but not limited to. Doing daily issues , weekly stock take, ordering of stock
*BACK OF HOUSE MANAGER
Must have at least 3-5 years experience in a similar roll. Responsibilities will include assisting with daily, weekly orders, Monthly stock take, overseeing Bakery department. Running kitchen on a daily basis, training of new staff.
*GRILLERS (HOT SECTION)
Must have 1-2 years experience as a griller, must have knowledge with breakfast, lunch and dinner meals.
*SALAD CHEF (COLD SECTION)
Must have 1-2 years experience as a salad chef knowledge of salads, breakfast meals, sandwiches is a must
