Operations Director - Mining

Description:

General Manager: Operations (Logistics) - Johannesburg Lead and continuously develop client industry strategy and operations. Identify and Map key players in the mining industry in order to grow the existing network within Sub Saharan Africa. This person will ensure the effective control and management of operational processes, from planning, collection through delivery and financial control, in accordance with the client’s requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

• Completed Degree in Logistics, Engineering or Finance
• Project Management qualification an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading an operational team within Logistic and Freight Forwarding
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Key Accounts and being customer facing within Mining Client Companies
• General knowledge of Customs procedures
