Operations Director - Mining

Description:

General Manager: Operations (Logistics) - Johannesburg Lead and continuously develop client industry strategy and operations. Identify and Map key players in the mining industry in order to grow the existing network within Sub Saharan Africa.

• This person will ensure the effective control and management of operational processes, from planning, collection through delivery and financial control, in accordance with the client’s requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

• Completed Degree in Logistics, Engineering or Finance
• Project Management qualification an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading an operational team within Logistic and Freight Forwarding
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Key Accounts and being customer facing within Mining Client Companies
• General knowledge of Customs procedures
