MECHANICAL ENGINEER – DESIGN & PROJECTS (EAST RAND)

Description:

The Mechanical Engineer – Design & Projects role within the Engineering Solutions department focuses on designing and managing refrigeration projects. Reporting to the Head of Projects, this technical position requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, with a specific emphasis on refrigeration systems. Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Trade Test Diploma in Refrigeration (considered an asset)
- Experience in refrigeration project design and installation
- Minimum of 5 years in refrigeration design and installation (preferred)
- Proficient in heat load calculations
- High level of computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
