Description:
Functions:
· Managing accounting procedures and computer application systems that deliver the accounting records
· Providing monthly financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff
· Managing financial regulatory requirements of the JSE and other related authorities
· Managing cashflows and bank reports
· Managing the taxation obligations
· Managing the annual audit
· Creditor payments, both local and offshore
· Annual insurance review and ensuring cover
· Good knowledge of business and financial management principles
· Maintaining the financial health of the organization
· Contribute and support strategic and growth initiatives of the organisation
Qualifications needed
· Matric
· B comm (Finance) or Equivalent /or/ Diploma in Finance with accompanying experience
Skills and experience required
· Stockbroking, JSE BDA system knowledge is desirable and preferential
· SAGE Accpac
· Proven knowledge and delivery in a financial responsibility
· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
· Knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry specific legislation
· Tenure and experience in a financial role
