Company and Vacancy Overview:A leader in the Automotive Services industry is looking for a BI Specialist to execute the Business Intelligence lifecycle, delivering optimised and efficient BI solutions.
Main Mission:
This involves defining issue statements (identifying areas of improvement) in business support processes, designing, developing, testing, implementing, executing and end-to-end documentation of BI solutions, to user support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce the most effective as well as situational and business-appropriate solutions. Ensure alignment to strategic objectives and quality compliance of your own and BI solutions. Query, analyse and build financial reports. Information sharing, end-user and technical support staff training. Keep up to date with new technological resources (research and development). Code reviews and code refactoring.
Requirements:
+3 years BI solutions delivery experience (data analytics / data mining) MS SQL, Power BI, SASS, SSRS, SSIS, and advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables). +2 years' experience in data warehouse design. + 1 year cloud solutions development / data lakes experience.
Desirable Experience:
Scripting (Dax) C# intermediate experience Web dvelopment experience (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
Education:
Matric Certificate. Microsoft BI / Data Analytics Certification. Diploma / Higher qualification in Corporate Finance or Management Finance.
