Description:
The ideal candidate, will be responsible for managing all aspects of 2 (two) guest houses (one existing and one newly built guesthouse), including breakfast service, handling reservations, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and providing support in all operational areas
Minimum requirements:
- Qualifications:
Hospitality Diploma/Degree, Matric with above average pass
- Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in MS Office, email, social media and Nightsbridge Software.
Strong management skills – to manage one guesthouse and oversee the second
Strong administrative, financial, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, - English a must, Sesotho and Afrikaans, preferredValid driver's license
- Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the construction, fitting and finalisation phases of the guesthouse.
Lead a small team to ensure a high standard of service
Oversee daily operations: guest relations, housekeeping, breakfast service, maintenance, sales & marketing including social media, and staff management.
Use Nightsbridge software for bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and invoicing.
Ensure guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort .
Manage inventory / stock and report necessary maintenance work.
Handle guest complaints efficiently and also manage online reviews.
Oversee accounting duties, including daily cash-up, petty cash, and monthly reconciliation.
Responsible for staff scheduling and efficient rosteringEnsuring payroll data is accurately submitted.
Understanding and managing budgets; reporting monthly on financial performance.
Motivating and maintaining staff relations, including scheduling duties and providing ongoing training.
Collaborating with owners to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience. - Working hours:
