Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading engineering firm specializing in material handling solutions, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in conveyor systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team working on innovative projects in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conveyor systems for various industrial applications.
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure structural integrity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, manufacturing, and installation teams.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and prototype testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in designing conveyor systems (belt, screw, roller, etc.).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
• Strong understanding of material selection, fabrication processes, and mechanical principles.
• Experience with FEA analysis and structural calculations (advantageous).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
