Description:
Dutton Plastics Engineering is looking for a Technical Sales Representative who will be responsible for sales, customer service and technical support within an allocated region. This position will be based at our office in KZN.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Development and drive B2B sales while ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with the team to action business strategies that promote customer retention.
• Act as an escalation point for challenging issues or complaints, working closely with the team to reach effective resolutions.
• Clearly communicate the unique value proposition of the company's products or services to clients, addressing how they meet their specific needs.
• Utilise historical data and market trends to create accurate sales forecasts for different time frames, aiding in resource planning and goal achievement.

Requirements:
- Sales: 6 to 7 years
Experience & Qualification
• Grade 12
• Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent related field.
• The ability to speak, read and write in English, Afrikaans and an African language would be a strong advantage.
• Microsoft Office and an intermediate level of Excel is a must, including the ability to effectively manipulate, compile and analyse data.
• Proven experience as a B2B Sales role or a similar role in the building/hardware industry.
• Strong understanding of the retail building industry.
• Demonstrated success in servicing a large customer base.
• Ability to develop and drive brand awareness and generate leads.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• The successful candidate should be willing to visit sites and attend to service calls.
• The successful candidate will be required to travel for business.
