Description:

Have you been successfully managing counter sales within the parts / hardware industry working with a computerised sales system? Our client in Cape Town CBD is adding a new staff member for their highly successful team - great opportunity to this dynamic environment tending to enquiries from clients and processing of orders. ESSENTIAL to be able to communicate in English & Afrikaans! REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate with experience using MS Office
  • Any ERP software experience eg Pastel, Syspro or other
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Stock management experience
  • Ability to work well in a team and support various functions when needed
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
DUTIES
  • Handle direct, telephonic, WhatsApp, internet and email sales and enquiries
  • Ensure smooth sales experience for clients
  • Follow through on client requests, quotes and queries
  • Canvassing of new clients to grow sales portfolio
  • Oversee stock control and conduct regular stock counts
  • Keep stock organized and accessible
  • Manage the cash float and ensure accurate handling of cash received from customers
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and storeroom
  • Unpack stock and manage inventory as new products arrive
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required by management
Salary: R12 - R14,000 negotiable dependent on experience
