Job Description/Duties:
• Supporting the Marketing Manager with various project
organisation.
• Composing and posting online content for the company’s
social media pages/platforms and websites in line with CI.
• Design creative assets and write or edit marketing
literature such as blog posts, e-newsletters, brochures, etc.
to augment the company’s presence in the market.
• Monitor, track, analyse and report on the performance of
social media and other content for optimisation.
• Assist in the organising of promotional events and
traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to
facilitate their success.
• Place orders and manage the process to delivery.
• Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality
and coordination of the department’s activities.
• Internal and external communication with staff, customers,
and suppliers.
Minimum Requirements:
• Relevant qualification in marketing, or related field or
studying towards such a qualification.
• 2-3 years’ relevant experience or formal qualification.
• Knowledge of marketing principles, and digital content
trends.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Design experience.
• Experience that would be beneficial but not required:
o Adobe Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
o Working on a CRM such as HubSpot
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently on
projects.
• Well organised with effective time management skills to
ensure that deadlines are met, and quality standards are
adhered to.
• Energetic and self-motivated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an
ability to communicate with a broad range of
stakeholders.
• Ensure that issues are escalated to management timeously
and appropriately so that resolution is achieved before
problems escalate.
• Ensure that all company policies, procedures, systems and
methodologies are followed.
