- Assist in managing the day-to-day lodge operations , ensuring seamless coordination across all departments.
- Lead, train, and develop staff to uphold 5-star hospitality and service excellence .
- Oversee guest relations , ensuring personalized experiences and prompt resolution of any concerns.
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage team and Executive Chef to maintain outstanding culinary standards.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management .
- Ensure that accommodations, public areas, and lodge facilities meet luxury standards .
- Support lodge sustainability initiatives and uphold health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in conservation and community engagement programs to enhance the guest experience.
- Act as Resident Manager in their absence , ensuring continuity of leadership and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior management role at a 5-star game lodge or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- A deep understanding of high-end guest service and lodge operations .
- Ability to work in a remote lodge environment , adapting to the unique challenges of a safari setting.
- Financial acumen, with experience in cost control, budgeting, and reporting.
- A passion for wildlife, conservation, and responsible tourism .
- Knowledge of local cultures and languages in Mpumalanga is an advantage but not required.
