RedCat Recruitment is URGENTLY seeking a suitably qualified and experienced FINANCIAL MANAGER for a well-established concern, company based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
Qualified CA(SA).
English speaking person (person must be able to speak, read and write English competently).
Advanced computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous working experience on accounting packages.
Person will be responsible for the formulation and maintenance of the companys accounting and financial policies and practices. Liaises with all departments in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
5yrs+ post qualification experience, with 3yrs+ previous experience working in a financial management role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong costing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a small to medium enterprise and able to successfully implement best practices to financial systems in such an environment.
Financial planning and strategy.
Financial analysis and reporting.
Cashflow management.
Risk management and compliance.
Cost management and efficiency.
Financial operations management.
Strong staff management skills.
