Description:
Duties:- Operating a forklift to unload incoming deliveries
- Verifying the accuracy of received goods against delivery documents
- Checking for damage, and then properly storing the stock in the warehouse while meticulously updating inventory records
- Primarily based in a warehouse environment, often requiring physical activity like lifting and moving packages.
- Exposure to various weather conditions if working in an outdoor receiving area.Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in verifying quantities, identifying discrepancies, and inspecting incoming goods.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations for inventory counts and quantity verification.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS - Syspro) for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Communication Skills: Clear communication with warehouse staff, suppliers, and other departments regarding receiving issues and updates.
