Key Responsibilities
Providing full monthly accounting support, including: Capturing and reviewing transactions and bookkeeping (with junior support) Preparing and analyzing management accounts and reports Reviewing and signing off payroll processing and PAYE submissions Performing VAT calculations, reconciliations, and submissions Drafting annual financial statements Understanding and handling various tax types, including income tax Preparing and submitting personal and company income tax returns Managing client relationships through professional communication via email and telephone Training and mentoring junior staffRequirements
Minimum undergraduate qualification in accounting SAICA/SAIPA accreditation (preferred) or in progress 3 - 5 years of experience working in an accounting firm Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and client management Proficiency in Sage Online Accounting (or Pastel), Sage Payroll, SARS E-filing, and EasyFile Xero Accounting and Caseware Cloud experience would be an advantage Remuneration: Market Related and Subject to Experience***Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted***
