Junior Safety Officer

Description:

Urgently seeking a Safety Officer in Germiston.

KPI Key Performance Indicators:

1. General administration ensures that all activities and processes are function effectively and smoothly.
2. Feedback on Health and Safety matters.
3. Tracking Health and Safety in the workplace.
4. Accurate and proper management of Health and Safety data.
5. Accident frequency rate.
6. Safety audits.
7. Employee training.
8. Computer literacy essential; Microsoft Office skills Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

   Transport:

   Own transport Need to be mobile in between 2 sites.

   Qualifications:

   1. Matric (mandatory).
   2. SAMTRACK / NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
   3. Must be a qualified safety officer.
   4. At least 2 years experience in HSE operations, maintenance, or construction.
   5. Registration with SACPCMP or equivalent health and safety body (advantageous).
   6. Experience in health and safety legal compliance and incident management.
   7. Valid drivers license and access to own vehicle.
   8. ISO 9001:2015 ( advantage)
