Description:
Key Responsibilities will include:Develop detailed project execution plans to ensure successful delivery of projects. Work collaboratively with the Client and company team. Manage and coordinate the integration of technical activities to enable the company to achieve its objectives. Ensure projects deliverables comply with design standards, legal regulations, environmental standards, and necessary permits. Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation strategies. Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including governments, local communities, suppliers, contractors, and team members. Ensure the company delivers quality services to our clients. Implement quality control measures to ensure project standards and performance objectives are met. Oversee and report on the projects progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Competencies:
Technical knowledge in the energy sector. Ability to consult with others to develop the level of knowledge required for the role. Utilise the companys knowledge network to adopt best practices in approach to work. Identify own training and development needs, ways to meet these needs and share knowledge with others. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Capable of prioritising and managing own workload using appropriate tools. Acknowledges and acts upon the need for additional support from team members. Articulate, providing clear explanations of ideas, job procedures etc. to others. Capable of working well with people at all levels. Ability to involve all members of the team in delivering objectives; professionals and support staff. Proactive in showing others how things are done in order to improve the operation of the team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related field. A master's degree can enhance qualifications. Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), SACPCMP or Accredited.
