Minimum requirements:

Matric certificate (required) Quality Control experience 5 years (required) Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality control inspectors and technicians 3 years (required) Certification in Quality Management e.g. ISO 9001 (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

Quality Control:
Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for plastic injection moulding operations. Ensure that all products meet or exceed industry and customer quality standards. Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary. Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality control inspectors and technicians. Provide training and development to team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and problem-solving methods. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team performance. Inspection and Testing:
Oversee the inspection and testing of plastic components at various stages of production, including incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. Ensure proper documentation and traceability of inspection results. Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve quality issues in collaboration with production and engineering teams. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality defects. Lead quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve process efficiency. Compliance, Safety and Auditing:
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Prepare and participate in internal and external quality audits. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and audits. Promote a culture of safety within the QC team, ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality control processes and production methods. Work closely with production teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and reduce waste.
Customer Interaction:
Act as a point of contact for customers regarding quality concerns and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address quality-related inquiries and feedback.
