Job Duties:
Responsible for overseeing projects across various disciplines within the gold mining sector. This includes coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, such as IT specialists, engineers, planners, and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution. The role involves:
Facilitating collaboration between diverse teams to align project objectives. Ensuring project delivery within approved timeframes and budget constraints. Upholding quality standards and compliance with industry best practices. Identifying and mitigating risks to maintain project efficiency. Providing structured reporting to stakeholders and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience:
Mining Experience - 5-8 years Underground Mining Experience - 5 years Gold Mining Experience - 5 yearsKnowledge and Skills:
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Management Consultant Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in project management software Project planning and execution Risk management and mitigation Stakeholder engagement and management Resource allocation and budget management Problem-solving and decision-making
