Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Office Assistant/Manager to assist a busy Marketing team, providing them with all administrative and project management support, this includes the brand team and the new product development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the marketing department, including scheduling, communication and project coordination. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department and will work collaboratively with other teams to support eh overall goals of the business. This position is based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town

Duties:

  • Coordinate communication between the Marketing Team and other teams, as well as external partners and vendors
  • Uploading information for Brand website
  • Manage stock and communication of new product launches and listing samples to regions and agencies
  • Assist the team with all courier requests, whether it be to suppliers, local media, agencies, consumers or other ad hoc requests
  • Assist with all procurement projects, including branded merchandise, prizes, gifts etc
  • Support the development, maintenance and reporting of company and marketing materials, including presentations, reports, certificates and more
  • Organise and manage marketing store rooms and recording of marketing collateral inventory
  • Coordination of team, brand and company events
  • Administering initiatives, donation requests and marketing samples
  • Managing monthly billings with suppliers and internal teams
  • Help coordinate events, both virtual and in-person, including logistics, vendor management and post-event follow-up
  • Assist with research on industry trends, competitor activities, and more
  • Support other marketing and sales-related initiatives as needed
  • Arrange product samples and hampers

    Requirements:

    • Strong organisations skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral = ability to work well with others
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to take initiative
    • Ability to plan prioritize
    • Must have a valid driver''''s license and own vehicle

      Qualifications:

      • Matric
      • Computer literacy, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
      • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
