Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and booking visits for the sales team.
- Candidate Sourcing: Identify high-quality engineering candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and your own network.
- Full Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire process from job registration to placement and aftercare.
- Candidate Assessment: Screen and interview candidates to assess their suitability for engineering roles.
- Client Support: Spec high-caliber candidates to prospective clients and provide consultative recruitment solutions.
- Interview Preparation & Feedback: Prepare candidates for interviews and ensure thorough post-interview feedback.
- Negotiation & Relationship Management: Negotiate terms of business and placement fees while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and developments to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
- Achieve & Exceed Targets: Work towards monthly and quarterly KPIs and revenue goals.
Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a full 360 Engineering Recruitment Consultant (temporary, permanent, or both).
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of engineering roles, technical terminology, and recruitment trends.
- Business Development Skills: Proven ability to win new business and build long-term client relationships.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and close deals.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding recruitment targets.
- Self-Motivation & Organization: Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently.
- Engineering Background: Beneficial for candidates with prior industry experience transitioning into recruitment.
