An established luxury lodge and hotel group in Southern Africa is looking for a Junior Social Media Manager to join their dynamic team. With iconic safari lodges and boutique properties catering to an international market, this new role is designed for a creative individual who is passionate about bringing a luxury travel brand to life online.
In this role, you will be responsible for curating and executing high-impact social media content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and most importantly, direct bookings. You will be expected to stay on top of the latest social media trends, producing visually stunning content that speaks to the luxury travel lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize social media profiles across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create engaging, experience-driven content that highlights the luxury offerings of the lodges.
- Develop compelling captions and storytelling that align with brand values and connect with the target audience.
- Actively engage with followers, guests, and influencers to build a loyal online community.
- Drive direct bookings through organic social campaigns and targeted remarketing.
- Use analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.) to track KPIs and optimize performance.
- Manage influencer partnerships and content collaborations with creators and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and PR teams to ensure consistency across all messaging and campaigns.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling posts and maintaining a content calendar.
