Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all repair and service tasks are performed to the highest standards. Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and motivate a skilled team of technicians and staff, ensuring high morale and performance. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all customer service requests are handled efficiently, maintaining excellent customer relations and ensuring repeat business. Quality Control: Oversee the quality of work performed and ensure all vehicles are serviced according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Inventory & Ordering: Manage workshop parts inventory, order parts when needed, and ensure the workshop is adequately stocked with tools and equipment. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations within the workshop environment. Budget & Cost Management: Monitor and manage workshop budget, costs, and resources efficiently to meet business objectives. Reporting & Documentation: Ensure proper documentation for all services, repairs, and workshop-related activities, including job sheets and reports.Requirements:
Qualification: Minimum of a Matric or equivalent. A relevant qualification in Automotive Engineering, Workshop Management, or a related field is highly preferred. Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in a similar workshop management role within the automotive industry, preferably with premium or luxury brands. Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of automotive repair and servicing, specifically within the premium automotive sector. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service and results.
