Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Finance Analyst with a strong background in financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and strategic planning.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis to support corporate strategies and initiatives Assist in the preparation of financial models, valuations, and projections Support M&A activity and integration processes Identification and communication of deal issues that may impact the valuation of the business or that may be used for negotiation during the transaction. Determining the negotiating strategy and assisting in deal negotiations, including advising on the commercial terms of transactions. Determining tax efficient structures for deals and opportunities for tax saving.a Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders. Working in multidisciplinary teams and managing the potential acquirer’s transaction advisors (e.g. financial, tax and legal due diligence services providers, commercial attorneys and commercial banks). Buy-side due diligence services covering financial and commercial analyses of Targets in order to assess the key value drivers behind maintainable profits and cash flows. This includes discussions with the Management of the Target (e.g. CEO and CFO).
Qualifications & Experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field CA(SA) would be advantageous Strong proficiency in financial modelling and Excel Excellent communication and presentation skills Knowledge of M&A, capital markets, and corporate finance principles
