We are seeking a skilled and experienced SolidWorks Agricultural Equipment Draughtsman to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and drafting of agricultural machinery and equipment using SolidWorks software. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong technical drawing skills, and a passion for agricultural engineering.Key Responsibilities:
Design and create detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings of agricultural equipment and machinery using SolidWorks. Collaborate with Engineers and the design team to develop functional and efficient agricultural equipment solutions. Assist in the creation of prototype designs, modifications, and improvements for agricultural machinery. Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and are accurate for manufacturing processes. Prepare assembly and manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions and tolerances. Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing and assembly. Provide technical support and advice to the engineering and production teams as required. Assist in troubleshooting design issues and implementing solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies, materials, and agricultural trends relevant to equipment design.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Experience with technical drawing standards and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. A solid understanding of agricultural equipment and industry requirements. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
