Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of armored vehicle systems and components. You will work closely with other engineering departments to ensure that designs meet rigorous performance, safety, and reliability standards.Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems for armored vehicles, including chassis, suspension, armor systems, and other critical components. Perform stress and load analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure design integrity and compliance with military standards. Work with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) to create 3D models and technical drawings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Electrical, Materials, and Systems Engineers, to integrate mechanical designs with other vehicle systems. Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical input for project planning and development timelines. Support prototyping, testing, and validation efforts to ensure designs meet the required specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during production and field deployment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the defense or automotive industries. Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Pro/E). Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and structural analysis. Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and vehicle systems relevant to armored vehicle design. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
