Description:
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Prepare financial forecasts for new acquisitions including Internal Rate of Return (IRR) assessments and customer relationship valuations.
- Act as lead contact to third-party experts who prepare the Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) reports for new acquisitions.
- Calculating the contingent consideration for new acquisitions and monitoring earn-out targets.
- Responsible for preparing bi-annual impairment assessments for the Groups intangible assets (including Goodwill and Customer Relationships).
- Assist the PLC Consolidation and Technical team with ensuring that OUR CLIENT PLCs financial reporting is compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Liaising with auditors on accounting queries and ensuring audit deliverables are satisfied.
- Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
- Adhere to the OUR CLIENT core values and expected behaviours.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A professional qualification in Accounting (CA(SA))
Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic business environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
