Job Responsibilities:Stock Management:
Identify the stock requirements and place orders following the customer or company procedure. Effective use of resources in stock management. Incoming inspection of all deliveries to ensure inks conform. - Safe storing of inks Ensure all products are identified and labelled Quality control documentation and capturing of stock movements at inplant. Weekly and monthly stock counts Resolve stock discrepancies Stock Rotation Prevent and minimize stock losses
Prepare/manufacture inks on site (production/blending process):
Quality documentation of inks used in the blending process Maintain quality control checks to ensure inks conform (ink system, colour, viscosity, etc.) Proper labelling and identification. Safe storing of inks for scheduled production. Ensure all inks have a formulation and SAP code. - Submit and ensure blend sheets are captured on SAP.
Issue and return in the printing process:
Ensure the correct ink is supplied to the machine - Ensure ink issues and returns are documented. Safe storing and transportation of inks to and from the machines. Follow estimation guidelines to assist the customer in job costing. Measuring gsm to determine ink usage.
Job Requirements:
Grade 12: Senior Certificate with Maths and Science Certificate/Diploma / Degree : Analytical Chemistry or any relevant qualification A minimum of 5 years experience in a chemical manufacturing environment Forklift License Computer literacy Must have chemical and manufacturing knowledge and experience
