An exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate in our fast paced, fast growing head office retail environment, where you will be dealing with various stores daily. The company first opened its door in January 1996, with the head office in Muizenberg, Cape Town.
Job type
Permanent. Office based, with a choice of working from home 3 days a month over a 4-week cycle. Must have reliable internet connection from home and connectivity during power outages.
Responsibilities
As the cash management bookkeeper for various stores, you will check the daily cash-ups for all stores in your portfolio. Query/follow up on any discrepancies with a satisfactory outcome. Escalate queries where necessary with relevant parties for a timeous resolve.
Reconciliation of all relevant Balance Sheet accounts linked to the Cash Management function, monthly and processing of relevant journals.
Report directly to the accountant as well as senior management.
