Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to achieve departmental and company objectives. Develop, implement, and maintain financial and operational controls to safeguard company assets and enhance cost efficiency. Drive cost management initiatives to optimize profitability. Ensure full compliance with SARS, FICA, and PPRA regulations. Manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of annual financial statements and trust account audits. Prepare and oversee group budgets, including subsidiaries and divisions. Present relevant, timely, and accurate financial and management reports to support executive decision-making. Oversee the efficient management of trust accounts in line with regulations and internal policies. Handle cash flow management, including banking and financial institution relationships. Provide financial analysis for strategic decision-making, including remuneration structures, feasibility studies, and cost assessments. Ensure intercompany loan reconciliations and exposure to basic consolidations. Manage VAT and PAYE reconciliations with SARS. Lead and support ad hoc finance-related projects aligned with the companys growth strategy.Key Requirements:
CA(SA) qualification is essential Minimum 5+ years of senior financial management experience, preferably within property management or related industries. Strong knowledge of trust accounting and IFRS standards is advantageous. Experience with intercompany loan reconciliations and financial consolidations. Proven ability to implement and maintain financial controls, optimize costs, and manage compliance requirements. Exceptional leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
