Key Responsibilities:Dealing with enquiries and booking holidays to a variety of destinations worldwide Turning enquiries into bookings To offer suitable packages and ancillaries within the requirements To maintain a high level of customer service at all times To achieve monthly sales targets To use personal travel experience and product knowledge to sell appropriate holidays To follow up on all enquiries made Cross-selling to alternative holidays To undertake any other duties or projects commensurate within the nature of the role
Personal Qualities/Skills:
At least 2-3 years experience in selling holidays Experience using a GDS, preferably Galileo Excellent geographical knowledge and experience in a sales/travel environment The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally To have a professional manner To have a passion for travel To have a basic knowledge of standard PC systems (full training will be given on in-house systems) Basic knowledge of ABTA/ATOL regulations Excellent time management skills Ability to work under pressure and independently Organisational skills and ability to multi-task Proactive & enthusiastic Supportive Team playerPlease note that as this team supports a UK customer base, UK working hours are applicable and will change with daylight savings. Current hours are 11h00 to 20h00 and will change to 10h00 to 19h00 at the end of March.
