POSITION: Sales Consultant Power Industry MSOL (Measurement Solutions)LOCATION: Northern - Secunda
REPORTING TO: General Manager
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: We need the services of a Sales
representative with Power Industry experience in process control instrumentation. The position requires
promoting and selling specific Instrumentation application solutions to clients in the power industry. This
function is responsible for the creation and maintenance of sustainable relationships through planned
customer visits, technical product and sales presentations, daily opportunity follow-up, thorough
understanding of customer requirements and development of leads for service and repair opportunities
through engagement with the client Service Departments.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Face to face consultative selling
- Meeting or exceeding sales quotas and targets set by the company.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of instrumentation products (e.g., sensors, transmitters, control systems,
etc.) and their application within power plants and other industrial settings.
- Providing technical support and product recommendations to customers based on their specific
needs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and
procurement teams in the power industry.
- Managing and nurturing existing client accounts while also identifying new leads and potential
customers.
- Understanding market trends, customer requirements, and competitor offerings to strategically
position the companys products.
- Conducting market research to identify emerging technologies and opportunities within the
power industry.
- Offering pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, ensuring that the products
meet their performance expectations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues or customizations.
- Assisting customers during the implementation phase of instrumentation solutions, ensuring
timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of products.
- Monitoring project progress to ensure products are deployed as per the agreed timelines and
specifications.
- Conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for customers to help
them understand the functionality and benefits of the instrumentation solutions offered.
- Providing detailed product knowledge to enhance customer confidence and sales conversion
rates.
- Ensuring that products and solutions comply with relevant industry standards, safety
regulations, and certifications in the power
