A Sales Executive in the hotel and lodge industry is responsible for driving revenue by attracting new guests, corporate clients, and event bookings while maintaining relationships with existing clients. They promote the hotel's services, negotiate contracts, and work closely with marketing and operations teams to maximize occupancy and sales.Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients, including travel agencies, corporate businesses, and event organizers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to drive repeat business. Promote hotel services, accommodation packages, and event spaces through sales presentations and networking. Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase bookings and occupancy rates. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies. Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking meetings to generate leads. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by coordinating with operations and guest relations teams.Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, hospitality, or tourism (hotel industry experience preferred). Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), CRM software, and OTA (Online Travel Agency) platforms. Understanding of corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure sales. A degree/diploma in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, or Business Administration is a plus.
