Job Title: Junior HR Administrator

Location: Boksburg

Reports To: HR Manager

Salary: R8,000 to R10,000

Job Summary:

We're on the hunt for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Administrator to join our team in Boksburg. In this role, you'll dive into various HR functions like assisting with recruitment, onboarding new team members, ensuring legal compliance, managing timesheets and payroll, assisting with compensation claims, and supporting training and certification initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

Assist in advertising job vacancies and managing incoming applications.

Coordinate interview schedules and keep in touch with candidates.

Support the hiring process by conducting reference checks and prepping offer letters.

Onboarding and Contract Creation:

Smoothly facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, making sure all paperwork is spot on.

Prepare and issue employment contracts, ensuring they're signed and filed properly.

Lead orientation sessions to welcome and integrate new team members into our company culture.

Compensation and Claims Assistance:

Help employees with compensation-related questions and process compensation claims.

Work closely with relevant departments to resolve compensation issues quickly and accurately.

Keep detailed records of compensation claims and monitor their progress.

Legal Compliance:

Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Prepare for and support audits by the Labour Department, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.

Stay in the loop with changes in employment legislation and help update HR policies as needed.

Timesheet and Payroll Assistance:

Collect and verify employee timesheets for accuracy and timely submission.

Support the payroll process by providing necessary data and sorting out any discrepancies.

Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees with clarity and professionalism.

Training and Certification Assistance:

Coordinate training sessions and maintain thorough records of employee training and certifications.

Assist in developing and rolling out effective training programs.

Monitor certification renewals to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HR so
