Job Overview:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management, profitability, and operation of the restaurant. This position oversees all departments, drives revenue, ensures customer satisfaction, and maintains the restaurant's standards and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and ensure optimal performance across all departments Drive profitability through revenue management and cost control initiatives Recruit, train, and supervise management team members Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve financial performance Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase business Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations Build relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable contracts Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly Set goals and objectives for the restaurant and staffQualifications:
5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Financial management and budgeting experience Knowledge of food and beverage operations Proven track record of successful P&L management Food safety certification and alcohol service licensing
