JOB CONTEXT:
We are on the lookout for an IT Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of technology initiatives within a fast-paced, innovative environment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with business goals, manage timelines, allocate resources, and serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders. You'll navigate risks, solve problems, and adapt to changes while balancing competing priorities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. The role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and close collaboration with senior leadership to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, driving technological evolution and successful project outcomes.
THE JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Develop full scale project plans. Develop project status reports and overall project summaries. Co-ordinate project staff. Manage project budget and resource allocation. Plan, schedule and track project timelines. Monitor and report on progress of the projects to all stakeholders. Implement and manage project changes. Evaluate projects and report findings, problems and solutions. Communication on projects. Evaluation of project postmortem-Lessons learned. Competencies:
Strong typography skills. Good communication skills. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Good interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to multi task and work on multiple streams of work at once. Qualification:
Matric. Relevant B Degree. Qualification in Project Management (PMBOK,PrinceII,Agile). Proficient in project management software (MSProject). Systems (System A, Brolink, CIMS) Knowledge and Experience:
At least 5-7 years relevant work experience in project management. Experience in working with
