Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Sandton

Job Type: 12 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Project:

To design a unified, centralised, electronic consent and communication platform that addresses the findings and mitigates the risks identified during phase one of the programme

Job Duties:


  • Plan, execute, and finalise projects within agreed timelines and budget
  • Manage project resources, including coordinating internal and external teams
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
  • Implement project management best practises and methodologies
  • Lead project meetings, workshops, and presentations

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field
  • Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable

Experience:


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
  • Experience in the IT and Internet industry is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in project management tools and software
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Project Managers with extensive experience in managing corporate projects while engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the orginisation.
  • Because the project will consist of various subprojects, the candidate will require advanced skills in integration across these subprojects.
  • Suitable candidates need solid experience in designing, building and implementing business solutions by planning, baselining, monitoring and control.
  • A solid understanding of- and experience in following a formal project lifecycle.
  • Commitment to PMO governance and compliance.
