Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Sandton
Job Type: 12 Month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Project:
To design a unified, centralised, electronic consent and communication platform that addresses the findings and mitigates the risks identified during phase one of the programme
Job Duties:
- Plan, execute, and finalise projects within agreed timelines and budget
- Manage project resources, including coordinating internal and external teams
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
- Implement project management best practises and methodologies
- Lead project meetings, workshops, and presentations
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field
- Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management
- Experience in the IT and Internet industry is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in project management tools and software
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Project Managers with extensive experience in managing corporate projects while engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the orginisation.
- Because the project will consist of various subprojects, the candidate will require advanced skills in integration across these subprojects.
- Suitable candidates need solid experience in designing, building and implementing business solutions by planning, baselining, monitoring and control.
- A solid understanding of- and experience in following a formal project lifecycle.
- Commitment to PMO governance and compliance.
