MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSProven track record in designing, constructing, and managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar agricultural projects. Preferably in Avocado or similar. In-depth knowledge of agronomy, irrigation systems, soil health, and sustainable farming practices. Experience with post-harvest handling, export logistics, and certification standards. Strong leadership experience, including managing diverse teams and large-scale budgets. Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, including government and investors. Expertise in scaling agricultural operations and driving export success.

Avocado Project Design and Management
Lead the design, construction, and operation of large-scale avocado projects. Apply expertise in high-yield agronomy, orchard management, and advanced irrigation systems. Optimize soil health and implement sustainable farming practices. Ensure compliance with sustainability and certification standards, including Global G.A.P. and Rainforest Alliance. Manage post-harvest processes, including handling, storage, and export logistics. Oversee the end-to-end value chain, from planting to market entry. Agronomy and Technical Expertise
Utilize deep technical knowledge of climate adaptability, pest and disease management, and orchard optimization. Monitor and integrate innovative agricultural technologies to improve productivity and efficiency. Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with climate and environmental challenges. Identify and mitigate risks associated with operating in emerging markets, including climate variability, regulatory challenges, and infrastructure constraints. Leadership and Operational Management
Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams, including agronomy, operations, finance, and sales. Proven ability to manage large-scale agricultural project timelines from initial design to operational execution, including coordinating contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Establish training programs to build local capacity and ensure knowledge transfer in areas such as orchard management, agronomy, and post-harvest handling.
