Head Guide Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of professional field guides and trackers.
- Conduct guided game drives, walking safaris, and immersive wildlife experiences.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences tailored to individual preferences.
- Oversee the maintenance and compliance of safari vehicles and equipment.
- Uphold high guiding standards, conservation practices, and FGASA compliance.
Lodge Anchor Responsibilities
- Support lodge management in daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist with hosting, guest relations, and activity coordination.
- Oversee front-of-house responsibilities, including check-ins and guest engagement.
- Work closely with all departments to maintain seamless service delivery.
- Assist with administrative tasks, reservations, and reporting.
Requirements
- Head Guide: FGASA Level 2+ (or equivalent), Lead Trails Guide preferred.
- Professional Certifications: Valid First Aid, PDP License, ARH, DEAT/THETA registered.
- Lodge Anchor: Strong background in luxury hospitality, front-of-house operations, and guest relations.
- Minimum three to five years of experience in a luxury lodge setting.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for conservation, exceptional hospitality, and high attention to detail.
