Commercial Refrigeration Technician
Description: We are looking for an experienced refrigeration technician to join our installation and repair team. As a refrigeration technician, you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units. To ensure success as a refrigeration technician, you should have advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems, good mechanical skills Role Description: Repair All types of refrigeration plants: Multiplexes; Simplexes Hot cases and electrical repairs. Strong fault-finding skills on Refrigeration plants on site and remotely. Strong fault-finding skills on electrical boards Commission refrigeration plant, monitoring system and sigh off plants with project managers Assist service team with service if no call outs. Complete Job card and signed off by client. Communicate any extra work required on site. Control and manage van stock. Leave equipment and site in a better condition as found. Maintain and manage company vehicles. Maintain and manage company Tools General Continuous improvement. install, service, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment such as condensing units, compressors, and evaporators. Some duties of the job include connecting refrigeration lines and electrical power sources, handling hazardous refrigerant substances, and checking systems and equipment for leaks. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a must in this career.
