Our client is looking for a dynamic and technically minded Mobility Equipment Sales Product Specialist to join our team in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. In this role, you will play a vital part in expanding our market presence by selling high-end home mobility equipment of the value of R400 000 plus to luxury estates, B2B clients, and private homeowners .
This is a consultative sales role that requires a combination of technical aptitude, strong sales acumen, and empathy to effectively engage with a diverse client base, including elderly and mobility-challenged and physical disability individuals. You will work closely with our Senior Product Specialist, who currently leads sales in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive new business through proactive cold calling, networking, and B2B sales .
- Sell premium mobility equipment (priced at R400,000+) to high-end complexes, private homes, and businesses .
- Follow up on leads and appointments scheduled by the sales admin team.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly targets (minimum 3 sales per month).
- Build strong relationships with architects, estate managers, project managers, and clients.
Technical Consultation & Client Engagement:
- Conduct on-site assessments using technical tools such as a measuring tape to ensure accurate specifications.
- Communicate effectively via video support calls with project managers in Phase 1 of the installation process .
- Guide clients through product specifications, pricing, and custom solutions based on their needs as part of phase 2
- Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate empathy when dealing with clients who require mobility solutions.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Keep detailed records of all client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to enhance sales strategies.
