Description:
Hire Resolve , on behalf of their client, a leading Financial Wellness Technology company in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Call Centre Sales Manager . The successful candidate will play a key role in managing prospecting and existing clients within South Africa, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. This role requires a motivated and sales-oriented individual who will handle inbound customer inquiries and effectively filter them to the appropriate channels. Please note that this position involves outbound calls, but no cold calling.Responsibilities
- Consistently meet all group targets for every measurement period.
- Effectively manage and maintain leads to ensure required conversion rates.
- Ensure compliance with all Group Policies and Procedures.
- Keep the team motivated and committed to achieving set goals.
- Provide continuous feedback to senior management.
- Offer ongoing guidance to sales consultants.
- Promote and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
- Act as a role model for staff by demonstrating effective sales practices and results-driven behavior.
- Monitor staff activity levels and productivity regularly.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Handle staff-related issues, including performance management and disciplinary procedures.
- Investigate and implement initiatives to enhance department performance and sales generation.
- Play a key role in recruiting new staff members
Requirements
- Proven track record of leadership skills.
- Matric certificate.
- Experience with outbound follow-ups and inbound lead handling.
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ sales call centre experience within the financial industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of competitor offers within the industry.
- Ability to develop and grow long-term customer relationships.
- Willingness to mentor salespeople and help them enhance their industry knowledge.
- Extremely deadline-driven and target-oriented.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using computers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to build consensus within diverse groups.
- Achievement-oriented and thrives under pressure.
