Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieving group targets within each measurement period
- Managing and maintaining leads effectively to optimize conversions
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Motivating and leading the team to achieve set goals
- Providing continuous feedback to senior management
- Offering guidance and support to consultants
- Maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues and other departments
- Leading by example as a role model for staff
- Monitoring activity levels and staff productivity
- Preparing and generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Managing performance-related issues, including disciplinary procedures
- Identifying and implementing new initiatives to enhance sales and department operations
- Actively participating in the recruitment process for new staff
Experience & Requirements:
- Proven leadership skills with a successful track record
- Matric qualification
- Experience in outbound sales (client follow-ups) and inbound inquiries & lead management
- 5-8 years of call centre sales experience in the financial industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of competitor offerings
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- Willingness to mentor and guide sales team members
- Highly target-driven and deadline-oriented
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Computer literate with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- A team player who can build consensus within diverse groups
- Resilient and thrives under pressure
