Our client, an Electrical and Instrumentation company in Rustenburg is looking for a Sales Representative/Consultant with an electrical sales background. Qualifications and experience:- Grade 12
- Electrical and or Instrumentation Trade Certificate
- Proven experience in sales Preferably in a SMEIP Construction environment.
- Computer Literate
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to source new clients or give the reasonable leads.
- Able to identify market opportunities
- Sales Activities: Actively seek out new customers through cold calling, networking and referrals.
- Meet or exceed sales targets: Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain professional, positive business and customer relationships
- Monitoring competitors' sales activities
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
- Maintaining client records
- Products/Services and market knowledge
- Cross sell products/Services
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
- Negotiating contracts and prices
- Planning sales strategies
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
- Stay up to date with new products/services
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
