Guest Relations Officer – Luxury Wine Estate

A luxury wine estate in the Franschhoek area is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Guest Relations Officer to ensure an exceptional guest experience at its exclusive lodges. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a talent for making every guest feel welcome and valued.
Key Responsibilities
Provide a personalised and professional welcome for all guests, ensuring an outstanding first impression. Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Act as the main point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries, special requests, and any concerns. Coordinate personalised services such as private tours, dining reservations, spa bookings, and special celebrations. Ensure that guest preferences and special requirements are noted and catered for. Liaise with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure seamless service throughout the guest’s stay. Manage guest feedback, resolving any issues promptly to maintain a high level of satisfaction. Promote the estate’s offerings, including wine tastings, dining experiences, and exclusive events. Assist with VIP guest arrivals, ensuring extra attention to detail for high-profile visitors.Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a guest relations or front office role within a luxury hotel, lodge, or wine estate. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and engaging personality. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure. High level of professionalism and discretion when handling guest requests. Ability to multitask and coordinate between various departments to enhance the guest experience. Knowledge of local attractions, wine estates, and experiences is beneficial. A strong passion for hospitality and delivering personalised service.To Apply
