Are you a sales consultant with a passion for boats and boating equipment?Our client based close to Gordon’s Bay requires your sales driven attitude and knack for customer service to join their Boat and Watersports equipment company.Your knowledge in the boating industry will be important to qualify and close sales in this exciting role. REQUIREMENTS- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Matric completed with good computer skills
- Professional demeanour for offering the best customer service
- A persuasive personality who has excellent networking skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to ask open ended questions
- Listening and understanding clients’ needs for the appropriate sales service
DUTIES
- Meeting and greeting of incoming customers and showing them appropriate choices for their needs
- Maintain and understand all products by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features to assist customers
- Cultivates buyers by maintaining good rapport and building sound relationships
- Matching the buyer with their ideal boat requirement
- Qualify the buyer by listening and understanding their requirements and interests to match to various models
- Demonstrate the boat features and takes customers out in the boat for them to gain a full understanding of products
- Explaining warranties and service requirements.
- Closes sales by overcoming any obstacles, asking for sales, negotiating prices, and completing sales and purchasing contracts
- Assists with the setup of the showroom and displays
- Keep up to date on all models
- Liaise with the banks if finance assistance is required
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience. Basic plus commission.
